Every spring SPCA tends the tree boxes on Georgia Avenue. We refresh the plants, replacing faded daffodils and tulips with geraniums, petunias, and sweet potato vines. Neighbors do the planting. As always, we need volunteers to plant. Experience is welcomed, but enthusiasm is the most important qualification! Volunteers should meet at Ledos for assignments.

We also need residents and business neighbors to “adopt a pot” to ensure that our plantings are watered throughout the summer. Just a little bit of effort makes so much difference! Help us bring in the flowers along Georgia Avenue!
