The forecast is for clearing skies in time for this huge yard sale.

13th Annual Shepherd Park Community Yard Sale -- Saturday & Sunday, June 6 & 7, 9a-3p. (If it rains on Saturday, the sale will be Sunday, June 7 only.)

50 neighbors will be selling at their homes throughout Shepherd Park.

15 more will set up in front of Shepherd Elementary School (14th & Kalmia, NW).

Also -- on Saturday only -- the Friends of the Shepherd Park Library will have a used book sale in front of Shepherd Elementary, Shepherd Park Christian Church on Eastern & 12th, NW will have a multi-family sale, and the Thrift Shop at Northminster Presbyterian Church on Alaska & Kamia, NW will be open. Tool Grinder/Knife Sharpener John Vecchareli will have his green truck parked at Shepherd Elementary on Saturday (and maybe Sunday).
