Lowell School Profile

Lowell is an independent day school conveniently located on 8 tree-filled acres on Kalmia Road. We educate children age 3 through grade 6, and have plans to expand to 8th grade by 2012. Age-appropriate after-school activities are also available for all enrolled students.

Children at Lowell engage in active, experiential learning. Dedicated teachers nurture curiosity and help all children develop fundamental skills and deep, conceptual understandings. A strong social curriculum develops interpersonal skills, multicultural understanding, and community engagement. Pre-Primary students explore the wonders of the natural world, engage in creative expression, and gain the skills and independence they need to flourish as learners. Primary students experience an innovative program that integrates academics, arts, technology and physical education and challenges them to think analytically, creatively, and critically.

Lowell ensures economic diversity with a robust financial assistance program.

Lowell's Summer Camp welcomes children from all over the city each year, and our Aquatics Program, also open to the broader community, offers year round swim lessons. Lowell's facilities – including pool, gym, banquet and conference rooms – are available to rent.
