It's time to pay your 2017 SPCA dues! SPCA's membership year is based on a calendar year, so if you haven't paid your dues since January 1, then it's time to renew. Dues are just $25/household and members get discounts on garden tour tickets, yard sale registration, and t-shirts.
SPCA dues are paid on an annual basis. The membership year is from January 1 to December 31.

Fellow SPCA members,
As the SPCA officers and board did a few months ago with our new bylaws, we are submitting a proposed set of revised articles of incorporation for your consideration, review and comment. As per our bylaws, they were introduced at the February community meeting. I wish we had the original articles of incorporation for you to compare them to. For one thing, if we had them, it would have made our revision work easier. But the District government, although it acknowledges that they have been filed with the District, cannot find them -- and we know of no one in Shepherd Park who has a copy, either.
So please review this document closely. If you have any comments or questions or suggestions to improve them, email me at firstname.lastname@example.org. The same task force that handled neighbor comments on the bylaws – myself, SPCA treasurer Carl Bergman, and SPCA board member Cynthia Prather – will take all of your comments under consideration. Our aim is to have a revised articles of incorporation document approved at the May 10 community meeting. Thank you again.
